Nyree Richardson ITEC dip MFHT
In 2004 Nyree trained full time at City of Bristol College gaining ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) diplomas in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Since graduating she has gone on to complete ITEC diplomas in Sports Massage, Stone Therapy and Indian Head Massage at Devon Academy of Complementary Therapies.
She has also travelled to Thailand to train in Thai Massage at the Wat Po Traditional Medical School.
The initial few years of Nyree’s career were spent working as a mobile therapist around Portishead. She also worked as a therapist part time in the Webbington Hotel.
In 2011 Nyree joined the Birdwell Clinic team where she has been continuously honing her therapeutic skills ever since.
She has undertaken research and attended various advanced massage courses, ensuring that her knowledge is kept up to date whilst also meeting the CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements set by the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) of which she is a member.
Personal interests & background
After a decade of managing pubs and working in entertainment Nyree finally found her vocation in life after experiencing a course of physiotherapy and massage whilst living in Tenerife.
She has a love of dogs and horses so will often be found hiking around the countryside with four legged friends.
Yoga has been a passion of Nyree’s for a long time so she has now taken the plunge into a teacher training course with the British Wheel of Yoga which she will complete in 2022.
