At Birdwell Clinic we'll help you to smile.  Dental care is available for all the family.  Our priority is your dental health, but we also offer orthodontics and cosmetic treatments such as white fillings & tooth whitening. Our team includes dental hygienists to promote gum health.  Wheelchair access is possible, and homeopathic remedies may sometimes be available.

Homeopathy

Sports Massage

Sports massage improves the condition of tissues, reducing muscle stiffness, pain and fatigue, increasing flexibility and range of movement.  While also reducing blood pressure, it can remove metabolic waste products and increase the rate of healing and tissue repair.    Massage can affect mental state, either stimulating alertness ready for activity or by reducing anxiety, enhancing relaxation and providing feelings of well-being.

Charlotte graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of the West of England, then specialised in soft tissue dysfunctions and Sports Massage.  As a Personal Trainer she has an understanding of the active client, whether that is a mother of young children, a self-employed builder or a professional sports athlete. 

 

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese Healing Bodywork Therapy with it's roots in Oriental Medicine, the aim of which is to restore health by stimulating the body's self-healing ability.  By applying various qualities of touch the practitioner's aim is to restore energy to depleted areas and to release congested areas, thus activating the individuals vital energy (Ki) to re-balance and return the body to a state of health and well-being.
A multitude of imbalances can be addressed using Shiatsu- conditions brought on by illness, stress, trauma and many other causes of pain and dis-ease.

Linda has had an extensive career in NHS, sports and private physiotherapy since qualifying in 1999.  Her treatment approach includes hands on treatment, acupuncture, Pilates and exercises to maintain recovery.

Craniosacral Therapy


Craniosacral Therapy uses a gentle listening touch to release deep seated patterns of tension and encourage the body’s ability for self healing. Craniosacral treatment is particularly effective in the treatment of birth trauma in babies, helping with conditions including sleeping difficulties, colic and allergies, and promoting healthy growth.
